  15. As you probably know, TrapDoor's built-in functions for calling nodes
  16. aren't very good, so until recently I was using one of all the ARexx
  17. scripts that exist. But that wasn't good enough for me; I wanted to be
  18. able to add more nodes to call when the script was already running, and
  19. I wanted to be able to call a node until a specific time. TrapDispatcher
  20. can do this and more!
  21.  
  22. TrapDispatcher is a program for calling nodes via TrapDoor. It has a nice,
  23. resizable GUI and an ARexx port. You can also install external programs in
  24.  a menu.
  25.  
  26. TrapDispatcher requires a nodelist compiled with TrapList, a registered
  27. version of TrapDoor and reqtools.library version 38 or higher by Nico
  28. Franτois.

  30. Changes in 1.1:

  32.  - The ARexx command CALL would return random result codes when it
  33.    was successful.
  34.  
  35.  - Incomplete node numbers will now be completed using the default
  36.    node. See configuration and usage for more details.

  38.  - TrapDispatcher will now start without an configuration file
  39.    and then use the default values.
  40.  
  41.  - TrapDispatcher caused Enforcerhits when there was an error
  42.    in the configuration file.

  44.  - New configuration keyword: "MaxFailed". If a call to a node
  45.    has failed more times than allowed, the call will be removed
  46.    from the list. This was added so that wrong passwords,
  47.    unreliable modems etc can't give you a high phonebill...

  49.  - You can now control the listview using the cursor keys.

  51.  - Two new switches for the ARexx command "CALL" and for the
  52.    command-line: REQ and FORCE
  53.  
  54.  - REQ is now used in the ScanPoll.rexx script. If an error
  55.    occurs, a requester will appear.
  56.  
  57.  - New ARexx command: GETERROR. This gets the result of the last
  58.    CALL command as a brief string describing the error. You can
  59.    find the string in the "result" variable. Make sure that you
  60.    have "options results" in your ARexx script.
  61.  
  62.  - Three new useful ARexx scripts are included: CallExist.rexx,
  63.    Deliver.rexx and IntuiNode.rexx.
  64.  
  65.  - Support for Zone Mail Hour added. Now TrapDispatcher will only
  66.    call non-CM nodes during ZMH. ZMH can be toggled either using
  67.    ARexx or manually using the menus.
